How To Reach Out To The Less Fortunate

Being homeless usually they are trying to hide their past, they are shy and feel shame, have extremely low self-esteem and this is blended with some sort of pride. It sounds complicated and hard to reach out to their hearts. The first time when I started to share the Gospel and my little mobile Christian library with them, I hesitated to hug them because of the unpleasant smell. I cared for them from a distance. […]

Yesterday some brothers and sisters asked me “Jennifer are we still meeting at Skid Row if it’s pouring?”. “Yes. It will stop when we get there.” Yesterday till 9:20pm I couldn’t find anyone available to help us to pick up burgers at 7:45 am this morning and bring them to Skid Row to serve.
