To Be The Salt & Light of the World

Today after group prayer, Glen, a friend from skid row, walked toward me; I was so excited i almost ran into him. Because it has been couple weeks since i had seen him. I started wondering how he is doing.  He kept saying, “Thank you, thank you. You must have prayed for me because someone contacted me to help me with my situation. I am out of the street…” I was extremely excited and forget what I said. I only remember repeatedly saying “Don’t thank me. I did nothing. Give all your thanks to our Father God. Repent and believe….” He is the one shouting out loud to the people around him, “Did you hear? Did you hear? She knows my name, she remembers my name…” when I called his name 8 months ago at skid row. And the Jesus Knows My Name Ministry was born. Every Sunday after serving at skid row on the way driving back home I feel we won a battle for God’s Kingdom. I thank God for trusting in us to do His work. Let us pray for wisdom, guidance and that He equip us to walk in His way. And pray for healing and providing for the people in need. And give us clear instruction to accomplish the work He has given us.

Father God, we thank for all the blessings and promises You have given to us. We love you with our whole heart, with our whole soul, with our whole mind and with our whole strength. We trust and believe with You nothing is impossible. We worship and praise You are the King of kings, the Lord of lords forever and ever. Amen

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We love you, Lord.

Urgent Urgent Prayer Request

Jamie’s wife, Florina, a loving wife and mother, is going to have pacemaker surgery TOMORROW MORNING 7 AM at West Hill Hospital.

Let us pray with ONE accord asking God to give the doctor wisdom to handle the procedures without any complications. Our Father God’s healing power cover her from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. Bring her perfect health with her family. Pray comfort and peace for Jamie and his sons and their girlfriend. We pray with expectation. And give thanks for God’s grace. Amen.

God Provides (& Need a Pickup)

5/16/15 – Heart of Compassion Food Bank promised giving food to God’s ministry, enough to feed 50 families every Friday, but we need a PICK UP TRUCK WITH SIDING. I need to place the order before Friday and pick up the following Friday. And a church at Carson also promised to give food to feed the hungry. God provided the source, we need help. Please add this request to your prayers – a PICK UP TRUCK WITH SIDING and brothers’ help.

Prayer Request

5/15/15 – Our brother Jamie is safely back in town but his wife fainted the other day and stayed in hospital till this Sunday. The doctor needs to do some more test and monitor her condition. I am asking our whole family to pray for her recovery and give the comfort, peace and strength to Jamie and his family. We thankfully lay this urgent petition at His feet, in the name of His precious Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on behalf of Jamie’s wife. Amen.

Our prayer team please pray unceasingly for our brothers and sisters.

Joining us and need bags

5/5/15 – Leland, a friend of our forever leader Peggy, is going to lead his church’s life group to join us to serve the Lord this Sunday. This is another evidence of the ONENESS. How grateful we are. After I mentioned this Sunday is Mother’s Day his group may already have commitment to their moms or wives. He will remind his group but he will be there with us. Wow. I don’t want to cry.

Since I am going to prepare cranberry chicken, Joe is going to cook rice. That’s a big job for me to cook for 200 people. A big test, which I have never done before. Our Father God will help me, that I know. No worries. But I need 20 lunch bags (sandwich, fruit and a bottle water or juice pack in a bag), let Leland bring it with books to visit, pray and make connections with our friends who live in the tents. Text, email me or call me after 5pm for pick up. If you are not going to “our” place this Sunday. Remember if you can’t come, prayer counts. We work, you pray. What a wonderful team! Praise the Lord.

Need Pickups

URGENT NEED – 5/2/15

Daniel Glynn has been helping us to pick up the food from Angelica from day one. We need to add 3 more volunteers who have pick up trucks to take turns picking up the food and helping Angelica sort the food on Saturday morning and bring to skid row on Sunday morning 8:45 am. Please text me so I can give you Angelica’s contact information and share among all the driver volunteers so you guys can coordinate to each other.

Thank you in advance for your help. God bless all of you.
