Thanks to Peter Watts for this post:

We get the privilege of encouraging, feeding, resourcing and gathering these pastors once a month for our Urban Church Association. If anyone ever asks you the question of why don’t churches work together you tell them: “The UCA can change The USA.”

Prayer request and invitation:
THIS SUNDAY (8/20) We are going to take Church without Walls’ attendants and volunteers to SoCal Harvest Crusade after our service. Please pray that God opens our hearts to understand, open our ears to hear, open our mouths to sing praise to the Lord, and pray for our friends from Skid Row to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
If you are planning to go please let me know so we can meet there as ONE!
7/16 will be the last day to collect donations for this project to be distributed on 7/23/2017.
I, representing Jesus Knows My Name Ministry, give the deepest thanks to – Albert, Alen Brown, Carmen Avila, Dorthy Horton, Emmie Davis, Jessica Prines, Kiyoko Tatsui, Pam Norwood, and Peggy Heim for your generous donations.
Note that we no longer need toothbrushes, as Chaplain Carmen and Albert from Twin Tower Correction Center already took care of this item. Thanks!
If you are planning to support this “Christmas in July” project by buying shampoo, conditioner, or bar soap, please get TRAVEL SIZE of these items because our friends only use them 1 or 2 times at the the most and then discard due to the weight and space.
Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” ~Matthew 25:45
Thank you for your participation and generous contribution.
