What We Need vs. What We Want

What do you need vs. What do you want?

It is written in Matthew 6:31-33 – “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32″For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you NEED all these things. 33″But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Someone suggested that I give less to the poor and keep more for myself because I am old. I am grateful that God provides all I need, not what I want. What we want in life could lead us go astray, away from God. We live a life content with what God is giving us to meet our need that leads us to a joyful life.

Please make a commitment by donating $10 a month  by clicking the “Donate”  menu link here on this site, so we can extend our service to help more homeless friends and the friends who are released from jail to find a place and provide necessities to start their new lives more effectively.

(Matthew 25:40) – “The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, [even] the least [of them], you did it to Me.’”

God provides all we NEED not what we WANT.

It’s actually only what we THINK we want, right?! But yes God knows what we really do want.
